About Mr. Rosa

Career

I'm Cliff Rosa. I used to be a classroom teacher, but I followed my passion for video into technology coaching. After 8 years of tech leadership in the schools, I was laid off in June 2013. Now I've started my own video business Rosa Media Productions helping schools and small businesses use digital tools to reach out to their target audiences.

After transitioning from classroom teacher to technology coach, I helped schools develop on-campus and online video broadcast solutions. I've taught children and adults the ins and outs of Google Drive, Dropbox and other cloud-based and mobile solutions. I built this instructional website that became a learning portal for thousands of students. I love it when I see my students learn enough about video production that their skills give them a chance to express their own creativity and intellect.

It is deeply satisfying to me when I help a fellow teacher introduce a new technology solution in the classroom. We co-teach a couple of lessons then they pick it up and run with it. When I come back again my colleagues and their students have invariably thought of new ways to apply the technology that had not occurred to me before. Teachers are an amazing bunch!
